It's very important to back up the website regularly so it can be fully restored if necessary. We generally back up the website at least once a month. A monthly reminder is sent from Outlook.com to digital@ccchislehurst.org.

Please follow these step to create a backup (Administrator rights required):
# Log in to the [https://www.christchurchchislehurst.org/administrator/ backend].
# Go to ''Compontents'' > ''Akeeba Backup''.
# Click on the ''Backup Now'' icon.
# Check that ''Full Backup without large files is selected'' and then click on the ''Backup Now'' button.
# Wait till the progress page has inicated that the backup is complete.
# Send an email to [mailto:digital@ccchislehurst.org digital@ccchislehurst.org] that the backup has been completed.

 Apart from creating a backup of the website, we need to regularly create a backup of the whole server, so that we can restore the whole server, e.g. in case the file system got corrupted. This backup is called snapshot. To create a snapshot:
