We use the Joomla extension AutoTweet NG for posting certain articles that are published via the website automatically to our Facebook Page and Facebook Group using the Our Church Facebook account.
AutoTweet NG, like any other third party application, requires an autorised Facebook application to post to Facebook. Although AutoTweet provides a default Facebook application we had problems with the application in past and AutoTweet NG recommend to create a separate Facebook application. We have created this application on Heroku who host the application for free. Heroku also provide the now mandatory SSL certificate for hosted Facebook applications. Our
