It's a very difficult question, how to stop bullying. Bullying is a big problem and parents need to part of and lend a hand. This isn't something which kids should cope with alone. There are bullies, there are the bullied there are also the kids in between who watch things happen to other people. We all need to get together so that they can stop bullying and everyone must play operator.

People who watch on but do nothing at all are just as guilty as the kids that do the bullying. I understand this seems harsh but reality is these kids are going to continue bullying unless someone acts to prevent it, and it begins with one individual being prepared to do something about it.

Bullying is all about someone being powerful and seeking to consider your power from you, which needs to be stopped. Everyone needs to carry on to their own power. It can be far reaching, long afterwards the bully actually disappears, because kids tend to go over and also over what the bully says for them, thus affirming put downs in their mind.

A terrific way to combat this is if you take the statement and repeating the opposite straight to yourself many times over. For example when the bully says you're ugly, you need to tell yourself "I'm so pretty, I'm so pretty, I'm so pretty". This will help nullify the bully's unkind words.

how to stop bullies

An easy trick to combat bullies to to prepare a list of words in advance to state when the inevitable happens. Kids have to be prepared and really should even rehearse their reactions with a parent, to that when bullying occurs, the kid is able to respond immediately. Some fantastic words to use can be just one word answers for instance: what? whatever... wow...

Often answers such as this will render the bully speechless because they are expecting to talk with hostility. Check it out and find out. You don't have to use just one word answers, but if you use many words, just make sure that what you say is not putting down in exchange. We do not will need to go there, stoop right down to their level and be one of them. Our aim would be to break the cycle of bullying.

The most important thing to remember is that we don't want our bully to see a reaction from us. Try to do whatever you use a lack of emotion. This way the bully thinks we don't care and they are not as likely to try exactly the same thing again if they get no reaction from us.

So, parents, take a seat with your child today and figure out a summary of lines that the child can confidently use when a bully comes their way and exercise saying them to each other. Hopefully it has shown you how you can stop bullying inside your neighbourhood, at the school, or anywhere else you may go in life.
