ZACHARIAH HEDRICK:, Dexter, Missouri
Zachariah "Zach" Hedrick began his effort at Arkansas State as students surviving in the dorms. From the small rural farming region in Southeast Missouri, Zach quickly begun to get involved with the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity during his freshman year on campus. With many friends involved in the farming company, he begun to forge relationships among his classmates, ultimately serving as the President of the AGR group.
An additional honor was received by zach as one of only three students selected to participate on the National Alpha Gamma Rho Board. Zach was involved with many conference and served to communicate the overall directions and developments of the fraternity system.
He became involved with internships the summer of 2012 prior to his Senior year. Recognized being an intern for the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce, Zach was involved with lots of the activities and events presented by the Chamber. With abilities in the media and graphics design area, Zach was also involved in the deployment and design of different media content for the company throughout the summer.
"Getting associated with internships has been one of many most useful decisions that I have made while at A-State," said Zach. "Being able to spend time actually working alongside with those at these firm has given me a much better understanding of what will be engaged within my employment future."
Another opportunity was seized by zach for this term as a marketing intern for the Brickhouse Grill in downtown Jonesboro. Living regional to the restaurant and attending weekly management conferences, Zach has been able to obtain a sense for the overall "New Orleans" style strategy and increase the coverage of the business through various social networking outlets.
