Law & Order SVU tells the story of a group of committed investigators who benefit the elite group known as the Special Victims Unit. Capt. Brian Cragen (Dann Florek) heads up the machine which include four normal investigators - Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni), Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), John Munch (Richard Belzer), and Odafin Tutuola (Ice-T). The investigators frequently talk to police psychiatrist Dr. George Huang (B.D, while analyzing rapes, murders, and other vicious crimes. Wong) who gives special insight into the heads of suspected predators. Once the necessary evidence is gathered by the detectives, they change their case to Assistant District Attorney Casey Novak (Diane Neal) who agents deals and prosecutes the circumstances that set these nefarious criminals behind bars
The Law & Order SVU DVD features a quantity of dramatic episodes such as the series premiere "Payback" where a cab driver is found stabbed to death together with his genitals take off. They discover that the man is a soldier from the Serbo-Croatian struggle and that he was a rapist, when investigators Stabler and Benson examine. Benson, a son or daughter of rape, is sympathetic to the actions of rape victims, and Stabler should keep her from crossing the line to guard the likely suspects Other distinctive periods from Season 1 include "Sophomore Jinx" in which a college student's murder investigation is blocked by the college when the SVU suspects a s) of the school basketball team, and "The Third Guy" in which an elderly woman is tied up and raped in her house, but the investigation requires a special angle when the initial suspects are satisfied and a new perpetrator enters the picture
